This lady was caught committing adultery and religious leaders wanted to make it an issue where Jesus would give different advice to what Moses said in the Old Testament. Jesus’ comments that the person without sin (no one) cast the first stone changed the focus of the event. Yes, He was without sin, but He didn’t cast a stone…He forgave.
