After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’
Acts 13:22
God gives people a calling and a job to do for Him. Sadly, if the person messes up, God may remove them as He did Saul, after forty years. He did this when David was anointed king over Israel. David wasn’t perfect, but he had a heart after God. What is your heart after?

- Lord, help me to have a heart for You.
- Jesus, empower me to do Your will in my life.
