“…The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life – only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
John 10:17-18
Jesus knew God the Father loved Him because He was willing to die on the cross and do the will of God. It wasn’t easy, but Jesus submitted His will to the will of God the Father. Have you submitted your will to the will of God? It may not be easy, but will release blessing from God.
Prayer Focus:
- Lord, help me to know Your will.
- Jesus, empower me to do the will of God the Father.
