We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:8-10
God made us with three parts… spirit, soul and body. The spirit lasts for eternity. It eventually goes to heaven or hell. At the moment we’re in the body, but that won’t last forever. Oh yes, we will get a new body in heaven. I wonder how good looking we will be in heaven.
Prayer Focus:
- Lord, in Your time, I want to go to heaven.
- Jesus, while I’m on this earth, help me to be pure.
