John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.

John was wearing the clothing that the prophet Elijah wore and eating what poor people ate. He was sending a message to those around him by what he wore and ate. What message do you send to people who see you. When I walk and pass people on the street they often send me a message.
Prayer Focus:
- Lord, help me to send a godly message to people around me.
- Jesus, may my actions speak of faith.
